This review is all about the Behringer MicroMON MA400
dual channel headphone amp, definitely packs a real punch for anyone that
needs that power over there system. This unit has a direct injection
point (Monitor Input TRS) and as well as a second input XLR so
you can send a mix as well as a second source which can be very useful for
Musicians, DJs, Podcasters and Engineers with not a lot if money. The XLR
input has a XLR true THUR which is fantastic, sounds clean with low if any amp
hum. It has BOTH 1/8in and 1/4in TRS with a Mono and Stereo Switch.

The one downside with this headphone
amp is it has no real way to mount it to a microphone stand or wall. There
is a work around to this to you DIY engineers. You can easily take the front
knobs off then there are 4 screws on the sides and 2 screws on the inside
of unit holding the circuit board. After unscrewing all these screws you have
plenty of room at the bottom plate to drill a hole to mount on a wall or
add a microphone clip. Let me know if you would like I can make an instruction video if you want to see step by step on how this can be achieved. Tools you would need for this DIY would be a Philips screwdriver, drive with a metal bit set, electrical tape for the most part.

I love the MA400 for both the studio and
live setting. Retail this product goes for about $25.00 and for the simple operation
and quality definitely a piece for our bag of tricks.
